I was not a member of the team during this professional develpment. With that being said, I think that pod casting could be a great part of the classroom. Podcasting is great because it lets students use things they are familiart with (Ipods and Mp3 players). Podcasting can be used as a tool to answer the FAQ students love to ask.

I agree that iPads are very cool. My main concern would be that the cost of getting cases for all of them. I know my husband has an iPad and it cracked when he only dropped it a foot.

I think this professional development was very well organized. The teacher did a good job using the time to her advantage. We were shown many different applications that we could download on our IPads. I wish we would have had more aps that were educational. I have already started utilizing this professional development in my classroom. When we do our centers students play the tangram application. Students love the ap and the iPad as a whole.

I believe that the FlipCams will be great any certain areas. The class was once again very well put together, I think the best way to use FlipCams will be with are PBL. As we saw in the video in Columbus FlipCams can add so much to a project. It is also a good way to get students to use technology!
